Assistant Principal for Student Affairs Larry Fulkroad

As the year comes to a close Hillsborough says its goodbyes to two of the assistant principals. Both are pursuing new opportunities in education.

Larry Fulkroad  has been a teacher for seven years and has been an AP at HHS since 2014. Fulkroad is leaving Hillsborough at the end of the school year. “I’m leaving for different opportunities in my career,” Fulkroad said. He will be moving to Greco Middle School. “I mean I’m going to miss the interactions with high school kids. It’s been six years since I’ve been in a middle school,” Fulkroad said. “And also the administrators, I’ll miss working with them.”

Assistant Principal of Student Affairs Jackie Eisenhauer has worked at Hillsborough for two years and was a teacher for 17 years. Eisenhauer has received an opportunity to become and AP at a school that is much closer to her. “So what I got is a lot of time I’m going to save and a lot of gas,” she said. Eisenhauer will be an assistant principal at Gaither High School. She has said that she will miss the students and teachers, “But the biggest reason is it’s an energy saver and a time saver for me.”

Terriers will also be saying goodbye to IB counselor Dan Driscoll.

Driscoll will be leaving his position as IB counselor to be a traditional counselor at Robinson High School. Driscoll is the father to young children and would like more time to spend with them. “I am leaving to go work a 10 1/2 month position.” Driscoll said “The IB counselor position is a 12 month position.” Every goodbye is bittersweet however, “I’m really sad about leaving my current students especially juniors and faculty and staff who’ve I’ve come to know well,” Driscoll said. “I’ll probably miss being amazed by the maturity, dedication and foresight of my students.”
