It has been a hectic week in the NFL. Free agency just opened up and many top tier players are choosing to switch it up.
There were many questions and speculations on where Tom Brady would end up going. He is a six-time Super Bowl champion, nine-time AFC champion and has won his division 17 times. Many fans and players refer to Tom Brady as the greatest quarterback of all time.
He announced Tuesday morning that he would not be returning to the Patriots. This revelation made lots of NFL fans think their team could acquire him. Tom Brady signed a contract with the Bucs that is said to give him roughly 30 million dollars per year.
This acquisition for the Bucs has excited many fans. This season, fans believe the Bucs have the talent to win the Super Bowl. “Brady will have an elite collection of receivers now, “ senior Saahil Parekh said. “Even though Brady is 42 years old, his stats will definitely go up.”
Some people still do not believe the Bucs will go far. “Terrible move by the Bucs,” sophomore Vinay Govindaraju said. ”It does not solve many of the Bucs problems at all.”
Even though it is unclear where the Bucs will go, it is likely they will be under the spotlight more this year. “Fans should expect more primetime games,” Parekh said. “People all over the world will want to see how Brady performs with another team. What makes this season interesting is the Super Bowl is in Tampa, and attempting to win a championship in their own city will be the first time in history.”
