The Terriers won against Brandon on Friday night 48-0.
In the first quarter, both teams couldn’t get points on the board so the quarter ended tied at 0-0.
The second quarter started off with Brandon having possession of the ball when the Terriers stripped the ball and recovered it and ran it for a touchdown turning it 7-0. Before the end of the first half, the Terriers would score once more to make the score 14-0.
The Terriers piled on more points in the second half and kept Brandon scoreless, winning 48-0.
The win tied Terriers head coach Earl Garcia for the most wins in Hillsborough County history. He’ll go for the record on Oct. 5 against Jefferson.
“It feels good to know that you are a part of history and to be the team to help him set the record is gonna be a great feeling,” said quarterback Charlie Dean on how he felt about Coach Garcia’s record.
