This year it’s hard for the team since only three girls have had prior experience with the game.”We kind of expected this outcome since we only have three girls returning from last year so almost everybody is new and we understand that it’s going to take time, repetition and practice,” Coach Alexander Perry said. “The hardest part about the game is our offense and it proves to be a difficult time for the defense when the offense isn’t moving the ball.” He hopes that with an increase in skill and cooperation the team’s offense will be able to improve.
“Honestly I knew that Chamberlain had some pretty decent players but all I really expected from us was teamwork and effort and I think that we should definitely work on practicing harder and getting the plays down packed,” junior Janiya Sipp said.
The team’s next game will be Tuesday, March 20 at Brooks Debartolo.
