Seven football players plan to sign on National Signing Day
February 5, 2018
Seven seniors are expected to take part in National Signing Day this year.
National Signing Day gives the opportunity to selected high school seniors to sign a letter of intent to his or her future school. Once a player submits their letter of intent, they will receive financial aid from the college they signed off to.
There are two signing days a year: one in February and another in the Spring.
Seniors that are expected to sign include: Quinlan Gatlin, Elijah Hill, Marterrence Holloway, Kendric Montgomery, Andrew Patterson, Tyrese Spain and Agyenim Thomas, all of which will be signing for football.
National Signing Day will take place Feb. 7 in the auditorium, but no one will be allowed to enter unless they have an invitation or ticket to it, which can be given to them by a fellow student who is signing.
