After a tough couple weeks of practice, the volleyball team opened the season with a 3-0 win against Middleton.

The Terriers dominated the first set, winning 25-4. Middleton scored 10 in the second set and 15 in the third.

For freshman Sheila Kratzer, this victory meant a lot, seeing that is was her first ever high school varsity game.

“It’s intense and it’s at a higher level,” she said.

Senior Suchitha Nemani is also ready for the upcoming season, but was already looked ahead to a looming rivalry game.

“It felt good [to win],” she said, “but talk to us after the King game.”
