Even though IB seniors said goodbye at the end of April, since May 1 they have been christening their senior summer with IB exams, and lots of them. Every week day for the past week IB seniors have filled their mornings and afternoons with papers’ one, two and three and in their free time studied for their looming exams.

For many, testing has been a bit of a shock to the system, many claiming that even with all their preparation they still felt weary once they saw the exam. Shreya Dundigalla said “I feel like we all kind of go in with expectations but we should go in with expectations that are even higher,” her advice to following IB test takers is to “just be really prepared,” adding “you can never be too prepared.”

With the first complete week of testing down momentum is slightly slowing. “I’m really fatigued over the whole ordeal” said Hailey Dansby. Many agreed with her pointing out that the constant studying and stress is more difficult to cope with than the testing itself.

Regardless IB seniors are attempting to make the best of it and the communal struggling has seemed to be rather unifying according to Arthur Vazquez. “Usually when I see other people struggling its somewhat funny but then you got to realize you don’t know it yourself.” With visions of May 26th dancing through their heads, IB seniors continue in the final step toward their diploma and to actually being IB DONE!
