Many seniors are happy it’s the end of the year and ready for graduation, but some wonder what happens after high school. Being a high school senior is a crazy time in your life so many things might be happening within a family, with after school activities, planning to apply for college, look for jobs, joining the military, as well as celebrating throughout the year with school events like homecoming, prom and more.
Senior year can be hectic due to exams and grades but many seniors have a plan about what their future goals are. “Boosting up my grades and making sure to attend school every day so don’t take exams,” said senior Steven Salazar. Another thing seniors are ready for is sleep, getting up early to ride the bus or getting dropped off is exhausting, “I just want to gain all the sleep I didn’t get when I was in school,” said senior Maria Hernandez.
These moments are slowly getting lost in the past but for sure, seniors are ready for the real world and what they have in plan. Many like Wendon Carey-Jones, Ariona Hall, and Pierre Alsint Have already got accepted to the college they have applied to.
As for some students, leaving their favorite teacher is the most heartbreaking moment. “I love playing guitar and Mr. Kelly is one of the best teachers so I decided to play guitar with him before I leave,” said Jacob Hulsey.
