NAV’s ‘Good Intentions’ Debuts at No. 1

NAV's 'Good Intentions' Debuts at No. 1

Nav, with his third studio album titled “Good Intentions,” which is meant to be a continuation of his second studio album “Bad Habits,” which also hit the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Top 200, has quickly risen to the No. 1 spot, making it his second number one album in the last two years.

He passed contenders such as Kehlani, Lil Baby, Drake, and Lil Durk, who all have recent projects competing for the spot.

The project had many features, such as Lil Durk, Future, Young Thug, Travis Scott, Gunna, Lil Uzi Vert, and Don Toliver, with people like The Weeknd producing. The most stand out performance was definitely by new and upcoming artist Don Toliver, who currently has his own studio album titled ‘Heaven or Hell’ which debuted at No. 7 and currently holds the No. 47 spot on the Billboard Top 200 list.

The two joined on a song called “Recap,” which brought people’s attention to the way Don Toliver can ride the beat and bring attention to the sound in his voice that differs him from other trending artists.

Another standout performance featured one of Pop Smoke’s posthumous verses after his recent passing earlier this year. On the song called “Run It Up,” Nav comes in with the hook, and highlights Pop Smoke’s 50-second verse which brings the listeners to the end of the song.
