People know Miley Cyrus as the young child star who played a high school student living a double life as a pop star in the popular Disney TV show “Hannah Montana.”
Over the past few years, Cyrus has changed her image from a Disney child star to a controversial musician. “Of course, she’s engaged to Liam Hemsworth, she used to be Destiny Hope Cyrus. She’s famous for her music and acting and she’s infamous for one of her VMA performances,” said sophomore Lazlo Nziga.
Sophomore Dylan Nguyen thinks Cyrus’s change may have some problems. “At first she was okay, nice teen for little kids. Then she turned into someone who just went into a barber shop and asked for everything.”
Her awards, which include a VMA award, Teen Choice Awards, four Kids Choice Awards and one People’s Choice Award have landed her a spot as a judge in the hit TV show, “The Voice.” Since starting “The Voice,” she has started drama with fellow judge, Adam Levine.
Junior Stephen Doan likes having Cyrus as a judge the show. “It’s wonderful! I think she does a[n] excellent job [of] it, and it seems like she’s having fun,” she said.
