“Hustlers” is the movie of the year

Hustlers is based on a true story of a character named Destiny (Constance Wu) who lives with her grandmother and struggles to pay off her mortgage, so she becomes an exotic dancer to try and pay off the bills, but she was too innocent.

This movie has many big stars like Jennifer Lopez, Cardi B, Keke Palmer, Lizzo and Usher. It’s a comedy and will make you laugh for sure, but it also might make you shed a tear. It depicts friendships and hardships. By the end of the film, you’re left motivated to become a better person. Have you ever heard of the phrase “keep your friends close and your enemies close?” Well trust me, this movie demonstrated the true meaning of that quote.

It’s a really good movie but it’s important to keep your expectations low because some may not like the movie. You can tell that there are some missing parts towards the end that the director left out. It leaves the movie incomplete and with an unsatisfying conclusion. Although it was a great movie, we never had an understanding of any of characters besides Destiny. We know that Destiny is a single mother trying to pay off her and her grandmother’s bills and goes back to being an exotic dancer. She finds her long lost friend Ramona and they both start an illegal business. Go watch in theaters to see the rest of the story. I give this movie a four out of five.
