Outfield repairs leave baseball team without a home

A combination of pelting rain, football players and middle-schoolers has left Hillsborough’s baseball field in tatters. Now, in the middle of the baseball season, the field is undergoing renovations, leaving the team with little options for practice and forcing them to shift all of their games to away....

Every afternoon, the resounding ping of aluminum meeting leather rings through the lower floor of Building 4. Heavy nets, once dropped, have extra length that piles on the floor and anchors each cage. Each baseball that is slugged or thrown smacks the netting and then bounces to the brown-floral carpeted...
