Listen, I get it. Life moves pretty fast sometimes, and in the current political climate, the news seems to move even faster. It’s hard to keep up, or even want to. But it’s time to grow up.  

High schoolers are the world’s next leaders, doctors, teacher, scientists, you name it. So, we have a responsibility to educate ourselves on how the world works, and what’s happening in it right now. And there’s a lot. The threat of climate change is looming over the collective head of the human race, the turmoil in Washington D.C. can seem almost impossible to navigate and the events of other countries can be hard to keep up with.

So, every week, you can expect to find updates on everything you should know on a local, national and global level right here. It’s time to eat your spinach. No, it wont be in the form of unintelligible jargon and 1,000-word articles, but it’ll be short, easy to read and right where you can find it. 

Your weekly dose of spinach will include everything from education to the state of affairs in Iran, so get ready. There’s not a lot of time to beat around the bush, especially if you’re graduating soon. There’s a lot to catch up on.
